Sugar

Sugar, female black mismarked hooded fancy/pet rat

D.O.B: ? 2007

Variety: mismarked black hooded

Health: Spayed Nov '07 due to possible pregnancy, benign mammary tumour removed August 2008, recovered well

Died: PTS 13/01/10, getting old and losing weight, life had become a struggle.

I rehomed Sugar in September '07 from PAWSS rescue in Aberdeen after then had taken on 40+ rats removed from a house by the SSPCA. Because they had all been roaming loose they had a number of pregnant females, of which Sugar was one. She gave birth to 11 gorgeous babies on 20th September 2007. I ended up keeping 6 of them, Nutmeg, Saffron, Fudge, Jools, Rupert & Charlie, as well as the two 'fosters' I collected with Sugar, Burmickity & Fogwatt. Sugar has an absoloutely wonderful temperment, she is friendly with everyone and gives kisses and is great with both other rats and people. Every so often she goes a bit mental and pings about like a kitten! She likes her food (a bit too much!) and has the softest, shiniest fur of all my rats
