Saffron is one of Sugar's babies. Saffron, Fudge and Nutmeg did have a home lined up when they were babies, but the guy who was going to have them wasn't prepared to travel to pick them up and by the time he let me know this they'd got to about 12 weeks old and I was too attached to let them go. Of the three girls that I kept, Saffron is the most people friendly. She completely won my mother-in-law over at the age of about 10 weeks when she scaled up her jeans from the floor and climbed up and sat on her shoulder! One of her favourite things is chewing shoes and she loves to chew the plastic off the end of bootlaces until they unravel.
