Onion arrived with her sister, Cheese in November 2009. My other half went to visit family in England and came back with two girl rats that were being re-homed by a friend of his' daughter. Steve re-named them Cheese and Onion on the way home because they liked Cheese and Onion crisps!
Onion and Cheese are my first dumbo rats and Onion especially has such a beautiful, gentle facial expression. I'm not sure what colour Onion is but her temperament and looks remind me of Doughnut. Onion is a very fat rat and is also very chilled out. She has to be coaxed out of the cage as she can be a bit nibbly inside it, but once out she is just happy to sit and be loved.
Her and Cheese are very close and are always cuddled together but I am hoping to introduce them to the rest of the girls at some point.
